Founder Brooke Herron spent over a decade managing Direct-to-Consumer sales, events, and hospitality for boutique wineries in California wine country before hopping over to spend five years on the import-wholesale side of the wine and spirits industry in supplier management/distributor roles before pivoting to Online Marketing and Growth Marketing consulting for businesses in the travel, food, drink, and membership-subscription sectors in 2016.

The name Florecer means “to grow or bloom” in Spanish—a reflection of both the company’s mission and founder Brooke Herron’s journey. During her three and a half years living in Spain, Brooke launched her consulting business while writing about travel, food, wine, and marketing for a variety of online and print publications. Drawing on 15 years of experience helping wineries and brands grow their businesses by offering unparalleled customer experiences and personalizing and streamlining their marketing and online channels, she developed strategies to help businesses thrive in the digital age.
